Suffolk and Norfolk Social Work Teaching Partnership
We’ve developed our teaching offer for social workers through the creation of the ‘Suffolk and Norfolk Social Work Teaching Partnership’.
The partnership is a collaboration between the University of Suffolk and University of East Anglia, along with Suffolk County Council and is part of a Government initiative led by the Department of Education and Department of Health.
The aim is to:-
- Join up social work training, learning and practice
- Improve recruitment, retention and development of social workers
- Improve the overall quality of social work practice
The vision is to:-
- Embed a learning culture that permeates through all levels of social work practice
We’re continually building and shaping the teaching offer with contribution from frontline social workers, managers and service users to ensure social work education, training and practice is the very best it can be.
