It’s a great time to join us. We’re strengthening our social work teams to support people to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible. We’re investing in social care and changing the conversation for social work to provide better outcomes. Our teams in North Norfolk support our strength based approach, fully integrating with our health partners to wrap care around the person to encourage early intervention in the community and support admissions avoidance.

We’re adapting to working in and through this pandemic, towards a positive future for everyone. “I have been working with the north team for the past 4 months and can honestly say that this is the best team I have worked in. The amount of continued support and development opportunities are endless. Even though my whole time in Norfolk has been working remotely, due to Covid restrictions, I have been made to feel part of the family. The IT is second to none and supports my practice unlike other systems that I have used. The caseload is manageable, mixed with some very interesting work that both excites and challenges me. The best thing about working in the north teams are the people you work alongside, from other social care professionals, NHS staff to care homes – everyone is working to the same goal of making a difference. If you are looking for a job that provides you with support, development, laughter and a sense of enjoyment, look no further as you have found it with us in the north team”. Daniel, Social Worker
“I love working in the northern team because it is such a supportive environment. We have team members who have been with us for a very long time and I feel this is because we are so helpful to one another and really care about each other’s wellbeing. Having a management team who are so supportive and encouraging also makes North Norfolk a very good place for career progression. I feel fortunate to work in North Norfolk because there is a real sense of community within towns and villages. I enjoy being surrounded by the beautiful coastline and countryside”.
